I have been a Tragically Hip fan for years but never had the chance to see them perform before. After seeing the show, I'd heard all the stories about Gordon the lead singer, and now I believe them all. He is one of the most captivating performers I've ever seen on stage because you believe that his true emotions bring his music to life as he sings. The band is musically fantastic but the show's center is Gordon. He is not an act but the true emotion of every possible mentally disturbed genius on stage before you. With his band mates more than adequately melding two guitarists together in a very powerful show, he has a very strong supporting cast. Anyone who enjoys meaningful rock music should make every effort to see this band. It is an experience I will never forget. The Tragically Hip are near the very top of the list of great performances I have seen in my 64 years.
